StephanieStephanie Sigman is a Mexican American actress. Her first film role was Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. Also, she was in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). Sigman made an appearance in Narcos (2015) as well as S.W.A.T.(2017) which was the first and second seasons respectively. Sigman was born to a Mexican mother and an American dad, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. She is an U.S. citizen through her father. [2][3][4] The father of her, player Kenneth Ray Sigman was her mother. She started her career on Mexican television before she made her debut on film in Rio de Oro. In 2011 she was cast in the lead part of Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime-drama film Miss Bala. Six years ago, the Mexican entry in the category of Best Foreign Language Film was selected during the 84th Academy Awards. [7][8] But it did not get to the shortlist. 9 Sigman was awarded a Dublin Film Critics Circle Award in recognition of her performance as film critic in 2011.
