Amy Smart has been a actor, model and former American. Amy Smart was born and raised in California USA began her modelling in Italy. In 1996 she made her first appearance as an actor in the TV film Her Costly Affair. After a difficult fight her way to a role, she got a chance as 'Starship Troopers' in starring in Starship Troopers. This was not easy for Amy because she had transition from modelling to the acting profession. Models aren't regarded as the best actors and so tend to get smaller, insignificant roles. Amy did not give up and she eventually landed larger roles in films Varsity Blues and The 70s. She then ventured into the main roles for the 2005 romantic comedy film Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy finally got the recognition she'd been looking for since the age of 10. Amy went on to work in many of the greatest movies, including the Crank series starring Jason Statham as well as Shameless with Jason Statham, in which she played an enduring character.
