Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known in the pop world, is an British singing and composing. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, where along with three fellow students, he founded his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009 due to their impressive results. While he's always fascinated by the arts, he interested in becoming an lawyer or physiotherapist. A part-time job in a city bakery was his first opportunity to make money for his family. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His song Is not She Lovely was recorded by Stevie Wonder. Due to this, his group had to be split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part of a new group named One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls for the prize. They were however placed third just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell were not able to get the win in the contest. But Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
