Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a sixteen year old American who was who was born in Miami Florida. The child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. The father of her is Argentine of Scottish and English heritage. Her mother is of Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's ex-married partners. The family was at Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria area of London. Taylor-Joy stated the relocation was traumatic, and refused to go back to school in English because she hoped to go back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after she left Northlands. She then went to Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes and took part in the drama department. Then she dropped out of the high school aged 16 in order to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to work as an actor. She was given a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her a job as a model.
